Here’s a short video I created of my son when he participated in the Mutton Bustin contest at the Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding Championship Challenge in 2006. I created this with iMovie ‘06, converted it to a Quicktime file, and uploaded it to YouTube.
Landry stayed on a record breaking two seconds! (That number may be exagerrated a little.) He got up—with a little help from a rodeo clown, dusted off, and waved to the crowd of several thousand. Afterwards, he decided that he really doesn’t want to grow up to be a bull rider. (Whew! What a relief!) It’s been a year and a half and I think he’s still cleaning dirt out of his ear after his fall.
But it was definitely worth it. He is so proud of his trophy and belt buckle he won.

How cute Kim!! Kudos to Landry for a job well done! Congratulations Landry
Awe… thanks, Regina. He definitely loved all the attention.
That’s too cute! It looked like he had a lot of fun, which I’m sure was more important to you than his winning a trophy. It’s great that he got those, too. Congratulations to the little Mutton Buster, and his proud mama!
I love the video, don’t they call that muttin bustin or something like that?
Pretty soon he will be bull riding
and featured on PBR
