That is wild! I didn’t even know there were one hundred songs about Halloween! Had no idea! TIME WARP is my all time FAV! I LOVE that song! When I worked for Duke TiP (Talent Identification Program) one summer, we ended EVERY night of that camp on the steps w/ all the Tipsters singing and dancing to this song! Good Memories, takes me back! I guess I will bust it out for my Elementary Students and we can all dance too! :-)

  2. Kim on October 8th, 2007 1:10 am

That sounds like fun, Melanie. TIME WARP is a great song. It can get most anyone out of their chair.

I also like LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.

The Addams Family Groove – MC Hammer
The Crypt Jam – The Crypt Keeper
The Creeps (Fedde Le Grand RMX) – Camille Jones

Being an old guy, I know the old songs. “That Old Black magic” (has me in its spell. That old black magic that you weave so well. Those icy fingers up and down my spine. That same old witchcraft when you eyes meet mine. etc. It was written by the same guy, Harold Arlen, who wrote “Over the Rainbow” for the Wizard of Oz.)
Also, Sinatra (you may have heard of him) had a hit with a song titled just “Witchcraft.”

  12. Kim on October 16th, 2008 4:22 pm

Thanks, DJ Shea-Butter. Glad you like the list and thanks for adding to it. Maybe next year I can post a top 200 list with all these great suggestions I’m getting.

    Have a great Halloween!
