Veterans History Project Needs Videographers

A friend recently told me about the Veterans History Project. This organization relies on volunteers to collect and preserve stories of wartime service. This is a wonderful way to remember our veterans and the sacrifices they made for our country. This is also an excellent way for us to educate our children about the history of our country.

The Veterans History Project is wanting video interviews of veterans. You do not have to be a professional videographer to volunteer. Their website provides a wealth of information, such as interview tips, questions to ask, history of various wars, etc., that will help you get started. Plus, most likely, you already know at least one veteran you can interview. If not, you can always go to a local nursing home to find a veteran.

So check them out if you’re interested in volunteering your video experience to help preserve American history.

If you’ve already submitted videos to the Veterans History Project, give us your feedback. I would love to hear from you. I would also be happy to provide a link to your video. Just leave a comment.
